'Poland is just cheap outsourcing'? Nonsense - the data says otherwise

"Poland is just cheap outsourcing for the West?" - Nonsense. Polish Salesforce specialists have for years delivered some of the most complex projects on the market. We design global solutions, lead digital transformations and very often take over initiatives that others failed to deliver.

Until recently that was an opinion. Today it is a claim that can be checked against data - and that is precisely why the Salesforce Ecosystem Report Poland exists.

What the numbers say about the structure of the Polish market

Start with the part that is easiest to verify. If the Polish Salesforce ecosystem really were a pool of cheap labour, employment would concentrate in companies reselling hours of work. According to the Salesforce Ecosystem Report Poland, based on 728 responses in its first edition, the split looks different:

  • 50.8% of specialists work at Salesforce partners, the companies accountable for implementations and solution development
  • 33.8% work on the end-customer side, inside business organisations
  • 9.9% at outsourcing companies
  • 2.6% at ISVs, the independent developers of apps on the Salesforce AppExchange
  • 0.7% directly for Salesforce

Outsourcing companies account for 9.9% of the Polish Salesforce market. Fewer than one specialist in ten. Everybody else works where the design decisions are made: at Salesforce implementation partners accountable for the whole solution, or directly inside the organisations running their business on the platform. The growing share of specialists on the end-customer side is a separate signal of a maturing market - we cover it in our analysis of how employment splits across the Polish Salesforce ecosystem.

The competence does not fit into one city

The second thing the "cheap back office" label usually assumes is a single hub next to a single capital. The data shows otherwise. The study returned this regional split:

  • Mazowieckie - 34.93%
  • Lubelskie - 14.89%
  • Wielkopolskie - 10.48%
  • Małopolskie - 10.11%
  • Dolnośląskie - 9.74%
  • Pomorskie - 5.15%
  • Łódzkie - 4.41%
  • Śląskie - 3.49%

Mazowieckie leads, but Lubelskie in second place surprises many market observers and is the best evidence that competence has spread widely. The detail is in our map of the Polish Salesforce ecosystem. A market built purely on cost does not develop in eight regions at once - it develops where cost is lowest.

The scale of a community that counted itself

The third argument may be the strongest, because it is not about projects but about people. The Salesforce Ecosystem Survey Poland 2026 gathered 904 participants, of whom 585 completed the full questionnaire the report is based on. The first edition rested on 728 responses and was downloaded more than 3,500 times across its Polish and English versions. The second edition runs to 106 pages of data on salaries, roles, competences, AI and - for the first time - neurodiversity and accessibility.

It is worth noticing what actually happened here. A community routinely described as a back office organised the largest independent study of its own market, ran it anonymously and published the results for free. That is not the behaviour of a subcontracting market. It is the behaviour of a market that wants to be judged on its own terms.

This community also has its own grassroots life: User Groups, meetups and initiatives such as Wrocław's coffee&force, where specialists trade implementation experience rather than hourly rates.

And yet we still have to keep proving our worth

On the international stage, we are still sometimes seen through the lens of cost, not competence. It is time to change that. We want the Salesforce Ecosystem Report Poland 2026 to send a strong signal to the global market.

  • Poland is not "cheap labour"
  • Poland means experience, competence and the highest quality delivery
  • Poland is one of the strongest Salesforce hubs in Europe

That direction is confirmed by the people building the largest implementations here. Craftware, Diamond Sponsor of the first Salesforce Ecosystem Report Poland, said it plainly in our conversation about Poland as a strategic Salesforce hub: we can be more than a delivery centre.

The difference between supplying capacity and being a strategic partner is not a matter of ambition but of where the decision is made. A supplier receives a finished specification and delivers it on budget. A strategic partner is in the conversation earlier: challenging assumptions, designing the data model, telling the client that a planned feature will diverge from the process within two years. A market where one specialist in three sits inside the client's organisation is learning that second role, because it sees the consequences of its own decisions long after a project closes.

What this means for you

If you work in the Polish Salesforce ecosystem, this data is your argument in concrete conversations - about rates, about scope of accountability, about who makes the architectural decisions on a project. Instead of "we do hard things too" you can describe how this market is structured and where that is known from.

If you are considering working with a Polish team, read these numbers as a risk map. A market where one specialist in three works inside the client's organisation is a market with a memory of the consequences of design decisions, not only of their execution.

Frequently asked questions

Is Poland cheap Salesforce outsourcing? No. According to the Salesforce Ecosystem Report Poland, outsourcing companies employ 9.9% of Salesforce specialists in Poland, while 50.8% work at implementation partners and 33.8% on the end-customer side.

How many Salesforce specialists took part in the Polish study? The Salesforce Ecosystem Survey Poland 2026 gathered 904 participants, of whom 585 completed the full questionnaire behind the report. The first edition rested on 728 responses.

Where in Poland do Salesforce specialists work? Mostly in Mazowieckie (34.93%), followed by Lubelskie (14.89%), Wielkopolskie (10.48%) and Małopolskie (10.11%). The ecosystem covers the whole map of the country, not just Warsaw.

Who produces the Salesforce Ecosystem Report Poland? Fundacja TeamCo & Friends, which runs the study independently and anonymously and publishes the report free of charge for the whole community. The methodology is described on the survey page.

The takeaway

The "cheap labour" label does not lose to a better slogan. It loses to data. The employment structure, the regional spread and the scale of the community add up to a market that designs and takes accountability, not one that only executes.

Every completed survey strengthens that picture in the eyes of overseas clients and partners. Let us show the world how many of us there are and what we can really do.
